About Ian & Camilla
Ian and Camilla formed their professional partnership in 2004 and have gone from strength to strength ever since. They started out their careers as competitors, however it didn’t take them long before they together established themselves in the top 12 of the top professionals in the world at the International Championships at the Royal Albert Hall.
Camilla is one of Strictly Come Dancing’s original professionals and has been part of the pioneering show since it first aired in 2004 where she was partnered with David Dickinson, Athlete Roger Black, Actor Ray Fearon and and in series 3 she reached the Semi finals with Chef James Martin. Ian joined Strictly Come Dancing as one of its professionals in the second series where he with his very exciting choreography danced his way to the finals twice, first with Athlete Denise Lewis, and secondly with TV presenter Zoe Ball. It is the challenge and excitement that has made it such a great experience and enjoyment for Camilla and Ian to continue to be a part of Strictly Come Dancing.
They have learned how to reach audiences in a very short time and how to teach people to dance in record time. These are the valuable skills they draw on when working with new audiences and team building.
Together they dazzle audiences around the country with the amazing showcases they have created from a mixture of the Latin and ballroom dances some of which can be seen on their recent DVD The Magic of Dance. The DVD is a Romantic Ballroom and Latin Dance fantasy taking dance out of the ballroom and into a number of magical settings, with extraordinary performances in stunning locations.
